US-Bangla Airlines has suspended all its Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka flights until October 21 following the closure of Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport amid repeated Houthi attacks.
The suspension covers flights BS381 and BS382 operating between Dhaka and the Saudi Arabian capital, according to a notice issued by the private airline today.
The airline said the decision was taken due to the continued closure of Riyadh airport, which has disrupted international flight operations in recent days.
US-Bangla said affected passengers would be informed once the revised flight schedules were finalised.
It advised passengers booked on the affected flights not to travel to the airport until further notice.
Passengers have been advised to contact the airline’s sales counters or their respective travel agencies for information on flight status, rescheduling and alternative travel arrangements.
“We apologise for the temporary inconvenience,” the airline said in its notice, thanking passengers for their patience and cooperation.
For assistance, passengers can contact US-Bangla Airlines through its helplines at 09613713605, 13605 or +88 01777 777800-806.
Media reports said operations at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport had been repeatedly suspended and resumed following a series of Houthi attacks originating from Yemen.
The ongoing disruption has affected air connectivity between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia, creating uncertainty among passengers travelling between the two countries.
