Light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely at a few places in Khulna, Chattogram and Barishal divisions, while mainly dry weather is expected elsewhere across the country, according to the latest weather forecast.
The forecast, valid for 120 hours from 9:00 am today, said a trough of low pressure was lying over the North Bay.
The sky may remain temporarily partly cloudy in areas outside the three divisions, while day and night temperatures may fall slightly across the country.
The minimum temperature today was recorded at 19.5øC in Tetulia, while the maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 36.5øC in Dhaka and Sandwip.
The sun is expected to set in Dhaka at 5:34 pm today, while sunrise on Thursday is scheduled for 5:56 am.
