While we are technically a “news portal,” we like to think of ourselves as something a bit more personal: a group of people curious about the world, dedicated to the truth, and passionate about the stories that make our city and our country what it is.
Why are we here?
In a world full of “breaking news” and endless scrolling, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. We started Dhaka Statement because we felt something was missing—a space where news feels like a conversation, not a lecture.
Our goal is simple:
